48 Blocks Festival is a fully-loaded festival, complete with two stages of local live music, theater, and poetry, a full schedule of art activities and demonstrations, a marketplace of exhibiting artists and vendors, community resources, food vendors, and most importantly, you.
This festival is dedicated to the diverse and unique; to the beautiful and strange; the beloved and misunderstood: to the artist in us all.
We are seeking artists to be a part of 48 Blocks Festival 2026 happening from 12 pm–8 pm on Saturday, September 19, 2026 in Uptown and Fisherman's Parks in Atlantic City.
We have four categories of artist opportunities:
Live Art is a demonstration of artistic practice during the festival.
Workshops are hands-on sessions with participants and materials.
Activations are engaging experiences or interactive setups.
Art Installations are large scale artworks throughout the festival.
Please complete the application to be considered for selection. All submissions will be evaluated by our Advisory Committee and scored based on completeness, authentic creativity, originality, and capacity to fulfill obligations, with preference given to local artists. This is a paid opportunity.

Please complete the application to be considered for selection. Join the Atlantic City Arts Foundation on the Orange Loop for a full day of FREE celebration, global music, and live art activations.

Ducktown Madonnari Chalk Art Festival
DUCKTOWN MADONNARI CHALK ART FESTIVAL IS A FREE EVENT WITH TALENTED LOCAL & REGIONAL ARTISTS, YOUTH AND COMMUNITY ZONES, LIVE MUSIC, AND FOOD
We are excited to invite everyone to the first official Ducktown Madonnari Chalk Art Festival on Saturday May 23rd at Tanger Outlets in Atlantic City. The festival is hosted by Ducktown Community Development Corporation and partnered with North To Shore and Tanger Atlantic City.
This event is inspired by the original Madonnari festivals of Italy, and the many world-renowned festivals throughout the United States. The Ducktown Madonnari aims to be a vibrant, outdoor gallery of city sidewalks and plazas that will be transformed into vivid chalk masterpieces by talented local and regional street artists, right before our eyes.
Beyond art, the festival will offer music, food, interactive community engagement activities, and a Youth and Community Art Zone (brought to you by the Atlantic City Arts Foundation).

Reed’s Organic Farm Art Show
Join Reed’s Organic Farm for a vibrant evening celebrating the work of local artists in collaboration with the AC Arts Foundation and the students from the Atlantic County Special Services School! This curated show brings together a diverse group of creatives, each presenting original pieces across a range of styles and mediums.

$20 purchased in advance; $25 at the door
Spend the evening exploring the artwork, meeting the artists behind it, and getting a closer look at the stories and ideas shaping their work. Whether you’re an avid collector or just looking to experience something new, this is a chance to connect with the local art scene in a welcoming, relaxed setting.
Hors d’oeuvres highlighting Reed's produce can be enjoyed and a cash bar with wine and craft cocktails by Mission Rum will be available. Guests can also take part in a raffle to win a unique piece from one of the artists!

ARTeriors: Transformation through Transition
ARTeriors is Atlantic City Arts Foundation’s signature pop-up gallery event. The 11th iteration will be hosted in the emergent Farmers Row at 2601 Pacific Avenue. Local artists will transform a former ministry building into an immersive art experience.
By bringing in artists to create installations on-site, hosting opening and closing receptions with activations throughout, and drawing local and statewide attention to the great collaborative efforts to revitalize this corridor of Pacific Avenue, ACAF will highlight the redevelopment active on this block.

Atlantic City Arts Foundation is seeking artists to participate in our 11th installment of ARTeriors: The Ministry of ARTeriors 🔮🍇🎚️
All applications must be received no later than five o’clock in the evening (5:00 pm) EST on October 15, 2025, for consideration.
The exhibit will be open to the public from November 7—December 14, 2025.
PROGRAM DESCRIPTION:
ARTeriors is about transformation and transition. Artists transform a disused commercial property into an ephemeral and immersive pop-up art exhibit lasting for just one month. Selected artists will be given two weeks for installation and are encouraged to leverage found objects, up-cycling, and repurposed materials for their projects.
LOCATION:
2601 Pacific Ave, Atlantic City, NJ 08401
The site was formerly a church known as "God is Reaching Out Ministries," with first-floor access and spaces of varying size for artists to transform.
Selected artists will have scheduled access to the site between 8 am and 11 pm.
Placement within the space will be determined upon selection.
The site has running water, electricity, and restrooms.
STIPEND AND MATERIALS:
$1,000 stipend upon completion, and
up to $250 in materials, reimbursed with receipts.
PROJECT TIMELINE:
Artist Kick-off Meeting: October 22, 2025 at 4:00 pm
Installation Timeline: October 23 — November 5, 2025
Opening Night: November 7, 2025
Closing Reception: December 12, 2025
Last Day Open: December 14, 2025
Installation Removal Dates: December 15–17, 2025
RESTRICTIONS:
No alcohol or illicit drugs are allowed on site.
Artists are required to schedule site visits in advance during open installation hours of 8 am - 11 pm; there will be no 24/7 access.
Individual artists will be permitted one assistant during installation; additional assistants will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
No visitors are allowed during the installation period without prior approval from ACAF.
ELIGIBILITY:
Applications are open to individuals and art collectives of up to three artists.
Selected artists must be able to submit an invoice and completed W9 form in order to receive the stipend payment.
SELECTION PROCESS:
An Advisory Committee consisting of Atlantic City residents, artists, business owners, and advocates will evaluate all applications.
Selected artists will be notified no later than October 21, 2025.
EVALUATION CRITERIA:
Applications will be evaluated on the following criteria:
Capacity for the applicant to successfully complete the project,
Creativity and artistic merit of the proposed installation, and
Completeness of application.
ARTIST AGREEMENT:
Selected applicants will be required to sign and comply with the terms of the ARTeriors Artist Agreement.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
Installation content must be “family-friendly,” with no nudity or overt sexual themes, hate speech, or glorification of violence. Artists are asked to refrain from creating anything that defames or invades the rights of any person, living or dead; or anything that could be construed as harmful to a third party.
Artists are expected to create new site-specific art for the project, rather than display artwork previously created.
The applicant may not reproduce any copyrighted material.
