The Atlantic City Arts Foundation creates artist opportunities, engages the Atlantic City community through free arts & cultural programming, and inspires future generations to pursue careers in the arts!
Our diverse programs & partnerships activate community pride & civic self-esteem through interaction with public art, including the city’s largest mural arts program.

We envision Atlantic City as a community in which residents, businesses, government, employees, and visitors value arts and culture as a means to stimulate economic development, encourage civic engagement, and promote community well-being.

First of six mural refurbishments projects are completed: Z is for Zebra by Stephanie Segal Miller, unveiled at a community reception.

The 11th installment of ARTeriors is an Official Selection of Prudential North to Shore! The accompanying grant will fund a portion the 2025 program and event production.

ACAF is awarded significant funding from NJEDA as part of A.R.T. Phase 1 funding to link public arts with economic development.

Milestone 100th mural, Always Dreaming, Always Growing by Manuela Guillen, is installed, while 200+ people join ACAF for a public event.

10th ARTeriors program, ARTeriors at the James, located at James Salt Water Taffy’s iconic boardwalk location, featuring 20+ artists, and drawing hundreds of attendees to opening and closing receptions as well as activations throughout the month.

In Memory Of…, a 3-panel mural by Kenneth Lazan Faulk, Jr., John Morris, and Chanelle René honoring the life & legacy of Jacob Lawrence installed at Atlantic Cape Community College Worthington Campus.
Internationally renowned artist BK Foxx returns to Atlantic City to install a new mural, See You Tomorrow, and brings along a team of fellow muralists to create six new murals in the Orange Loop.

ARTeriors Baltic Avenue activates a vacant Payless Shoes at Tanger Outlets, bringing together 17 juried artists selected from a pool of 40 proposals. Opening night draws over 300 guests.

Launched the 49th Block Society to honor donors that support our mission with donations of $1,000 or more and welcomed 6 founding members to the society.

ARTeriors Ocean Ave featured 21 artists, bringing more than 750 visitors during the weeks the space was open.

Held our 7th Chalk About AC event and partnered with Sovereign Avenue School and Our Lady Star of the Sea School to bring the event to the kids at their schools.

Hosted two in person 48 Blocks AC events, one at O’Donnell Park and one at Absecon Lighthouse.

Partnered with Levine Staller, Create 48, Boys & Girls Club, and Chelsea EDC to create the first mural of 2021: S.T.E.A.M. Dreams by Layqa Nuna Yawar, the first of 6 murals created throughout the summer.

Produced Safari Theater, an innovative drive-thru live theater event engaging 21 performing, literary, and visual artists.

Brought 48 Blocks AC online, partnering with Stockton University and working with over 60 artists to produce content to an audience of over 4000 people!

Supported the installation of six murals in Atlantic City, including a mural on the Lagoon Playground basketball court and murals in response to the COVID-19 pandemic and the Black Lives Matter movement.

Partnered with Atlantic Cape Community College to host “What do you dream for Atlantic City?” which was attended by over 100 community members.

ACAF partners with CDBG department to bring a mural to the walls of City Hall, through the Beyond Borders internship program for AC teens & young adults.

11th mural of 2019 is completed, surpassing our goal of adding 10 large-scale murals to Atlantic City in 2019!

ACAF partners with JINGOLI, ACPD, Office of the Atlantic County Prosecutor, Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City, & Vision 2000 on the Youth Diversionary Arts Program.

The site of the first ARTeriors opens as MADE Atlantic City Chocolate, part of the larger Orange Loop redevelopment project.
