Nat Greene

Nat Greene is a multidisciplinary artist who builds large-scale, interactive works inspired by music and local culture. His installation Giant Accordion Playing Puppet – Malcolm Tent pays tribute to Atlantic City’s beloved accordion legend through a 10-foot-tall mechanical puppet that moves, plays, and invites joy. Built from painted cardboard, rope, and gears, the automata captures Tent’s spirit of creativity and community. Greene’s practice centers on honoring fellow artists, often transforming his two-dimensional ideas into kinetic, three-dimensional forms that celebrate movement, sound, and shared experience.

Nat Greene has been creating something or other for as long as he can remember. His skill level and notoriety have expanded exponentially over the last 5 years when he gave up alcohol and became more active creating in public spaces, concerts, and music festivals. Depicting other creators in his art has been a central focus in recent years, often using musicians as models in his work. Through pursuing the arts in certain circles he has taken 2 dimensional concepts into 3 dimensional interactive form.
