Joyce Hagen, Founding Executive Director, 2015 - 2022

The Atlantic City Arts Foundation would like to pay tribute to our founding Executive Director, Joyce Hagen. Joyce's commitment to bringing the arts to all parts of the city, to its residents and visitors alike, informed every ACAF program, particularly its three cornerstones: Chalk About AC, Arteriors, and 48 Blocks AC. Her impact has been profound. Under her leadership, the organization has grown in size, budget, and impact; it has fostered a growing community of artists, has helped launch artists' careers, has put beautiful and compelling murals all over Atlantic City, has brought colorful Adirondack chairs to the Boardwalk and O'Donnell Park, and has cultivated partnerships with other South Jersey non-profits and businesses. The arts are thriving in Atlantic City, due in no small part to Joyce Hagen's efforts. ACAF thanks Joyce for all she has done for the organization and wish her nothing but the best in her retirement.
