Calling all knitters & crocheters!
We’re planning a large-scale yarn bombing project for 48 Blocks AC this year - and we need your help.
Our goal is to wrap the columns of the O’Donnell Memorial Park War Memorial (we have a few back-up locations as well). Now, all we need are the yarn panels!
How to participate:
Knit or crochet a panel (or a few!) - Panels should be 24"x40" rectangles. Colorful, fun, unique patterns are encouraged! We recommend using inexpensive acrylic yarns. Deadline: Early May.
Donate inexpensive, acrylic yarns for others to use.
Learn to knit or crochet! We’ll host some community knit/crochet circles - check our events page for more info.
Drop completed panels & yarn donations:
