Join the 48 Blocks AC Yarn Bombing Project

Calling all knitters & crocheters!

We’re planning a large-scale yarn bombing project for 48 Blocks AC this year - and we need your help.

Our goal is to wrap the columns of the O’Donnell Memorial Park War Memorial (we have a few back-up locations as well). Now, all we need are the yarn panels!

How to participate:

  1. Knit or crochet a panel (or a few!) - Panels should be 24"x40" rectangles. Colorful, fun, unique patterns are encouraged! We recommend using inexpensive acrylic yarns. Deadline: Early May.

  2. Donate inexpensive, acrylic yarns for others to use.

  3. Learn to knit or crochet! We’ll host some community knit/crochet circles - check our events page for more info.

Drop completed panels & yarn donations:

  1. Noyes Arts Garage of Stockton University - 2200 Fairmount Avenue [DIRECTIONS]

  2. The Leadership Studio - 161 S. Tennessee Avenue [DIRECTIONS]

  3. Atlantic Cape Community College - Worthington Campus - 1535 Bacharach Blvd [DIRECTIONS]

  4. Out of town? Mail panels to:

    Atlantic City Arts Foundation
    PO Box 3
    Atlantic City, NJ 08404
