Request for Proposals: Beautification of the Basin

The Inlet Hydrangea Trail Volunteers, stewards of Hydrangea Trail 2.0, are seeking an artist to beautify a disused authentic lifeboat in Gardner's Basin.

PROJECT GOALS:

  1. Increase attention to the re-establishment of the Hydrangea Trail

  2. Create a focal point that coordinates with the color scheme of the new AC Aquarium and highlights the entrance to Gardner’s Basin

  3. Paint the outside of the lifeboat to enhance the installation of Limelight Hydrangeas inside the boat, completing the project by July 4, 2025.

PROPOSALS DUE: 4/1/2025

BUDGET: Not to exceed $3,500

If you’ve been to a Beach Rave or Night Market at Anchor Rock Club, you already know Tina’s an all-star at bringing arts & culture to life in AC. As a creative herself, she brings an understanding of artist needs and local opportunities along with a professional background in multimedia production and communications. Plusβ€”Tina is the 2025 South Jersey Cultural Alliance Arts & Culture Connector for Atlantic County, linking local creatives with resources to help them thrive.

As Program Manager, Tina will lead mural installations and the return of our signature programsβ€”48 Blocks AC, ARTeriors, and Chalk About AC. We can’t wait to see her impact!
