It's that time of year againβ€”North to Shore Community Arts Grant Award Applications are NOW OPEN!

There are two opportunities for funding:

  • Self-Produced Event Awards
    For experienced arts and culture producers β€” with access to a venue β€” who would like to self-produce an event.

  • Performing Artist Awards
    For independent performing artists β€” without a venue β€” who would like to be presented on an outdoor stage or club in their city at a time and venue to be determined by festival curators and headline artists associated with the presentation.

Key Information:

  • Applications are due Sunday, January 5, 2025 at 11:59 pm EST.

  • Atlantic City grants can be applied anytime between April 2025–April 2026, including during N2S June 12-15, 2025

  • Applications are open to applicants who live, work or have a history of performing or presenting arts events in Newark, Asbury Park, or Atlantic City, NJ and non-profit or religious organizations, individual artists, unincorporated artist groups, incorporated nonprofit organizations, or small businesses can apply.

  • If you are applying to self-produce an event, you will need to have a realistic proposed venue/location when you apply. If you are awarded but do not have a location secured, you may still apply, but you will need to find a venue.

  • Self-Produced Event awardees will be notified on February 24, 2025; Performing Artist awardees will be notified as other performers and line-ups are confirmed, but no later than April 1, 2025.
