Call for Artists: Showcase Your Work!

ACAF is hosting a Winter Mixer at Anchor Rock Club on Wed. February 19th from 5–7 pm. This event is open to all ages and free to enter.

We're inviting artists to join a pop-up exhibit on the second floorβ€”whether you have prints to sell or a canvas to display, we want to hear about it and make space for you at the event.

2025 New Jersey Arts Annual: Artist as Activist

The Rowan University Art Gallery & Museum, will host the 2025 New Jersey Arts Annual this summer. Applications to participate are open through March 3, 2025.

The Arts Annual 2025 theme is Artist as Activist, focusing on art that inspires social and political action. Activist artists use creativityβ€”such as visual artβ€”to challenge norms, raise awareness, and inspire critical thinking. The exhibition seeks work addressing topics like human rights, environmental justice, equality, health, and cultural issues, aiming to promote empathy, dialogue, and collective action.

New Jersey residents aged 18+ can apply. The Rowan University Art Gallery will review submissions through a curatorial lens. Accepted artists will be notified around April 4, 2025, and receive a $500 stipend upon completing required forms. Jersey City Mural Arts Program: Open Call For Artists

Open call for mural artists to join the Jersey City Mural Arts Program (JCMAP) Artist Roster for the 2025–26 season. This roster serves as the primary method for selecting artists for future public art projects that will enhance Jersey City's urban landscape and transform it into a dynamic outdoor gallery. Applications are due Friday, January 31 at 5 pm EST.
