As we welcome the start of summer in Atlantic City, June brings a lineup of great events to get out and about, tap into community creativity, and form social ties. The latest Americans for the Arts report cited a truly impressive number—a whopping 91% of participants report meeting new people and making new friends through arts experiences and events. That’s what it’s all about, stepping out and deeper into community!

We’re proud to play minor supporting roles in two key events coming up in June: the Orange Loop Block Party and Global Grooves. Both of these celebrations around town will have stellar art activations, superb performing and visual artists, and will serve as a reminder of how art brings us together.

Both of these FREE public events are funded thanks to the generous support of the Prudential North To Shore Festival, a program of NJPAC. Now in their third year of operation, the organizers have not only supported awesome events throughout New Jersey—they’ve committed to a year-round funding model to elevate arts and culture events as they occur in all seasons in Atlantic City. This has enabled the Atlantic City Arts Foundation to receive funding from North to Shore as our first presenting sponsor of ARTeriors 2025, coming this November! Check out the information in this email—we’re currently seeking leads on vacant commercial spaces we can transform with our artistic community.

🎉 Prudential North to Shore Events in Atlantic City

Weekday Underground’s “Orange Loop Block Party” will take over the Garden at Cardinal at noon on June 14th to kick off summer in the city. The free event will feature some of New Jersey's hottest acts, with live music, live art demonstrations, vendors & so much more! Live Art sponsored by Atlantic City Arts Foundation.

Grab your friends and family and immerse yourself in a vibrant tapestry of sights, sounds and tastes at Global Grooves—a multicultural celebration in the heart of Atlantic City’s diverse Chelsea neighborhood. This free family-friendly festival hosted by Chelsea EDC will transform O’Donnell Memorial Park into a colorful world marketplace filled with music, movement and so much more on June 15th at 1 pm. Live Art presented by Atlantic City Arts Foundation.

You’re in store for a night of incredible music with John Brancy and Peter Dugan for the 609 Club at The Celebrity Theatre at the Claridge Hotel on August 23rd. These talented artists will host a benefit concert to support the Atlantic City Arts Foundation by showcasing their musical prowess and captivating the audience with their dynamic performance. Don't miss this unforgettable evening of music and entertainment! Tickets are available now on Eventbrite. Ticket sales benefit the Atlantic City Arts Foundation.

ARTeriors will be back for it’s 11th installment, opening on November 7th. A disused space in Atlantic City will be transformed by established and emerging artists into an immersive pop-up art experience, highlighting the city’s ongoing potential for innovation, evolution, and collaboration.
